Traffic Alert --Town Street Resurfacing Project

Today, the Town’s paving contractor is resurfacing the 3900 blocks of Leland Street and Woodbine Street, and a section of Meadow Lane between Virgilia Street and Aspen Street (including the intersections with Leland Street and Woodbine Street). During the work, these streets and intersections will be closed, as needed, to allow the work to proceed safely and to allow the new asphalt to set. 

During these closures, residents travelling north on Meadow Lane should detour onto Thornapple Street or Oak Lane to access interior Town streets, or Virgilia Street to access Connecticut Avenue. Residents travelling south on Meadow Lane should detour onto Chatham Road/Aspen Street depending on the desired destination. Residents travelling on eastbound Leland Street through to Meadow Lane should detour onto Oak Lane or Maple Avenue. The roads will be reopened to traffic as soon as possible following the work.
