Boundary Study for the Opening of Charles W. Woodward High School Second Round of Options Released Second Round Not Slated to Impact Town Households Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) continues its comprehensive boundary study in preparation for the opening of Charles W. Woodward High School (Woodward HS; slated to open for the 2027-2028 school year). The first round of boundary options -- released earlier this year -- included proposed changes to the middle and high school assignments for Town households. This study does not seek to make any changes to elementary school assignments.
