Power Outage Update

Town staff and Mayor Rush have been in contact with PEPCO throughout the morning. The downed tree on Meadow Lane was removed yesterday evening, and a restoration crew has been assigned to the Town; however, PEPCO has not yet been able to tell us when the crew will arrive. 

We deeply regret the length of this outage for all affected residents. For those who have not yet informed PEPCO that you are without power, we encourage you to contact PEPCO directly at (877) 737-2662, through PEPCO’s app (available where you download apps or at pepco.com/mobileapp), or by text alert (see below)  

To register and send an outage text alert to PEPCO: Text “ADD OUTAGE” to “48710” from a phone linked to your account to register for text alerts.  Once registered, during an outage simply text “Out” to “48710” to report your outage (text messaging rates apply).

The Town will relay any new information as it becomes available.
