Winter Storm Update -- January 16, 2024

Town Office Closed; Remote Work in Effect
Due to snow accumulations larger than anticipated, the Town office will be closed today. Town staff will work remotely, so please communicate with individual staff members or the Town office by email.

Sidewalk Snow Removal
The Town's contractor will clear Town sidewalks given freezing temperatures that are forecast for the next few days and the possibility of icy conditions. The contractor will begin snow removal and salt/sand application by mid-morning today, and It will take some time for all sidewalks to be cleared. Clearing snow from private walkways and driveways is the responsibility of the homeowner.

Public Services Committee Meeting Postponed
The Public Services Committee meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. this evening, has been postponed. A new meeting date will be announced soon.

Parking in Snow or Icy Conditions
Residents must park cars either in driveways or on the even-numbered side of the street to ensure safe passage for the street snow removal crews. Please do not park cars on the odd numbered side of the street, unless otherwise posted.
