Shades of Green
WELCOME to Shades of Green! As Kermit the Frog told us, “It’s not easy being green.” Shades of Green, from the Town Climate & Environment (C&E) committee, is about helping residents make “greener,” or more environmentally sustainable, choices that conserve resources and energy, minimize pollution, and are generally healthier for people, animals, plants, and our planet. Effectively, our tips help you lower your CO2 Emissions.
Make Greener Choices
Why Shades of Green? There are shades of green from using fluorescent bulbs on one end, to moving off the grid on the other, for instance. We can all make choices somewhere on the spectrum.
Know Your Options
We’ve done lots of the legwork for you! Shades of Green is here to help you assess your daily decisions from how you travel, to what you eat or buy, to how you fix up your house or tend your yards. Become more aware of the environmental impacts of those decisions, and choose greener options.
